With Covid restrictions eased we were able to run for the public every Sunday for the school holidays. You can find a few pictures from Summer and Autumn 2021
The club is working on several projects including a major extension onto land donated to the council by David Wilson Homes. We have also renovated our signal box and are testing out designs for a signalling system. Tired fences have been replaced and the station area paving improved. A hydraulic lift has been installed to simplify offloading locos and stock. Some photos may be found in recent projects.
Here is a simulation of a trainrunning round the proposed extended track at Baggeridge. the simulation was created using SCARM software.
The track in the southern section of our figure of eight track has been duplicated. The work involved building a tunnel. We were greatly assisted by the contractor McAullife .
We moved into our new workshop, built courtesy of David Wilson Homes early in 2019.
From time to time we have a social get together such as our annual barbecue. See our On Track page for a selection of pictures.
There are several photos from past years on our earlier days web page . Also after a visit to Baggeridge, Chloe found photos taken in the late Graham Fiddler's back garden. Graham was a stalwart in the club and is fondly remembered. Chloe is the little girl riding in the cattle truck.
