A Club For Everyone Who Is Interested In Engineering
And Enjoys Meeting Like-minded People.
Wolverhampton & District Model Engineering Society Ltd
The main objective of the society is to promote engineering skills and maintain the traditions of the Wolverhampton area and its industrial heritage.
The club has around 60 members having a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. The common thread is a desire to participate in club activities, develop club facilities and build scale models and other engineering and craft objectives. Our members’ interests cover almost every aspect of engineering ranging through models of civil engineering plant, road vehicles, boats, stationary engines and of course railways. |
The Society facilities are located in Baggeridge Country Park (DY3 4HB) which is on the A463 between Wombourne and Sedgley, signposted from the A449 and 4 miles from Wolverhampton town centre. We operate the Baggeridge Miniature Railway for public passengers at scheduled times |
The club operates as a registered charity and despite its modest turnover makes generous donations each year to nationally known charities.

You can support Baggeridge Miniature Railway through South Staffordshire Community Lottery with a chance to win up to £25,000. For more information see:-
