The club has comprehensive workshop facilities at Baggeridge for the use of members. For metalworking there are machine tools (lathe, mill, shaper, bandsaw, grinder, welder etc) and we have some woodworking machinery.
At Baggeridge we have 1400 feet of ground level 7¼ and 5 inch track and 400 feet of 5 and 3½ inch raised track. Steaming bays for 5 & 3½ inch gauge engines are available for the raised track which is only used by members and their guests. There are raised steaming bays for 7¼ & 5 inch gauge engines on the ground level track with a turntable providing access to the railway. All public passenger hauling takes place on the 7¼ ground level track with trains operated at scheduled times. Coal and water for steam engines are available on site.
A hydraulic off loading ramp that connects to the turntable and steaming bays, is available for the ground level tracks to facilitate transfer of engines from cars or trailers. There is also vehicle access to the steaming bays for the raised tracks.
The Society has a mess room adjacent to the workshop. There is a café in the Park in close proximity to the railway.
